Well, we didnt manage to get to Diggerland, as the car is playing up (running badly, just about accelerating, etc) so I didnt want to chance it.
We spent most of yesterday at The Mall (Cribbs Causeway, Bristol) with Gemma, looking at clothes and stuff. Saw some great outfits for Rhiannon in Monsoon, expensive but lovely.
Went to Ian and Shellies last night for my wedding suit fitting. God I looked good :)

Got back home at 01:30 Tuesday morning after driving through the night. On the way home, it would appear I managed to get a puncture, as when I went outside to get in the car to go and collect the kids, one of the rear tyres was flat.
So first thing I did with the kids was go and get a new tyre - onlt 39.95, so not too bad...
I have started writing up my reviews for the films I saw at FrightFest 2003, and will be putting a link to them when they have been uploaded. Hopefully I will get a link from the FrighFest homepage as well.

Spent another great day at FrightFest 2003, and also saw my 3 (so far) favourite movies.
Phone - a Korean horror film about a posessed mobile.
Gozu - the new Takashi Miike film. Bizarre and brilliant.
Cabin Fever - a new 70s style horror. Funny and gory.
Tuesday night, when I am home and have the time, I will list all the films seen during the festival, and give brief reviews.
Last day tomorrow, including House of the Dead, Fear X and House of 1000 Corpses - with a special guest appearance by Rob Zombie himself. Should be another great day.

Well it is now Sunday morning.
I got here Thursday night and went out with Martin in Sutton. At around 10pm I was stupidly tired, but we went clubbing and drinking around 11pm and stayed out til about 2am in a place called New York, New York. A 70s disco with light up floor and everything.
Friday was spent in the City, most of it at FrightFest - didnt get home til around 3am.
Same again last night, but tonight I should be back around 11pm, so hopefully Martin and I will be back out again.
I will write some mini-reviews next week when I have the time.

Woke up this morning with the worst headache in the world ever...Pt2. Eyes were bloodshot, head ached, etc, etc. I had taken some analgesic, but it hasnt got any better yet :(
I dont want to be ill - I am going to London tonight for Frightfest for the next 4 days. It isnt fair...

Rhiannon was on a Peter Pan thing at the weekend. Between Friday evening and Sunday evening, we watched Peter Pan:Return to Neverland 11 times...
Rhiannon was a bit upset going home on Sunday, as she had told me earlier in the day that she didnt love me anymore (moments after I had told her off). About 2 minutes later, she informed me that she did love me really and she only said it to hurt me. She told me again about 2 hours later and kept telling me up until she left. For some reason, I think she thought, I thought she still meant it!
Friday sees me at FrightFest 2003 for the weekend. Really looking forward to this. Next year, Ian wants to come with me...
I come back home on Monday evening, and pick the kids up on Tuesday. At some point next week, we will be visiting Digger Land for a day. Chandler is well into diggers, tractors, earth movers and cranes, etc, so I though this would be ideal. A whole day of "diggis" (as he calls them). He can go on rides, drive them, dig with them, watch them perform, etc. He may be slightly excited :)

Ben and I finally got back to playing snooker on Thursday. I won 2-1 :) They also bought me 200 Viceroy cigarettes - for 6 Euros! Thats insane...
Picked the kids up yesterday evening, took them home for tea and then took them down to Nicks Bar on the sea front, where Pete was playing a gig. Didnt get back til 10pm and the kids were knackered :)
Some Xmas and Birthday presents for the kids have started turning up already - Barbie Desk and Chair for Rhiannon, Garage, massive Truck, and a wooden train starter set for Chandler. Its Chandlers birthday on 6th December and then Xmas later in the month...
Spoke to my friends who got their A level results yesterday. Kim got 3 B's and Katie a B,C,D (I think). Emma didnt quite enough points to get into Plymouth so she rang and begged them and got in! Yay! Gemma didnt do well, but she was planning on taking a year out anyway, so it looks like a career for her. Things havent gone her way recently - chin up Gem! :) Jenny got a B,C,D as well, but she is an aspiring actress, so I expect she will get on regardless.

Blimey...
Well I dropped Rhiannon and Chandler home on Saturday morning and then headed home to prepare for my birthday bash. It kicked off around 17:00 when my friends from Bristol turned up and we spent the afternoon on the Pier/sea-front having fun. An excellent laugh and all agreed it was a success.
After coming back home to change, we headed back into town for the drinking section of the bash. We started off at the Cabot, where we stayed until midnight. At no point in the evening did I not have 2 double-vodka and Red-X in my hands - which made dancing quite tricky. We moved on from there to Senoritas and then to the Sands. A good time was had by all, and I didnt get out of bed until 16:00 on the Sunday.
Hellos go out to: Andy G, Andy F, Paul, Vicky, Duncan, Gemma, Emma, Ruth, Kim, Katie, Pete, Bimbo and Shell for making my evening ace :)
On Sunday, Bimbo dropped the kids off at 16:00 so we could go out for my birthday meal - Pizza Hut - so that we could partake of their "Unlimited Ice Cream Factory" :)
That evening I went to the pub quiz (where we came third winning 1.50 each plus won some chocolate in the raffle) and got more presents, so that was ace.
Last night, I went and picked up Ben, Emma, Holly, Amber and Freya from the airport as they had come back from 2 weeks in Fuertaventura. We just about managed to get them and everything in the car...

Holiday was excellent. I picked the kids up on Saturday, visited my sister on Sunday and went to Newquay on Tuesday.
We were staying at Crantock in my tent, and on the Tuesday we went shopping and also to Newquay Zoo. Wednesday morning saw us at the Eden Project. Chandler woke up as we came in front of the biomes, and his face was a picture. A look of "WTF?" - with wide eyed surprise - truly excellent. From the Eden project, we drove back to Crantock and spent a few hours on Holywell beach before heading off to spend the evening in Mevagissey.
Thursday morning, we packed up the tent and then started heading home. We stopped off for a few hours at Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Once again, Chan was asleep when we arrived, but as he opened his eyes a steam train went past. Within 10 seconds of being awake he was running on the spot with excitement, with his mouth agape. Brilliant. Wish I had been able to video it :)
Today, we went to the pier and we are off to the Wacky Warehouse before tea (to tire them out).
I will post the pictures (once scanned or CD'd) as soon as I can.
Tomorrow I am dropping them off at 11:00, going to get my hair cut and then home for some sleep and getting ready to go out. My birthday bash starts at 16:00 and finishes in the early hours of Sunday morning - should be top :)
