Wasnt well yesterday. Spent most of the day in bed and in the bathroom :(

Bimbo came round on Monday evening to let me know that the court had rejected our financial arrangement. So what was the point of us coming to an agreement, if they dont like it! They may as well have done it themselves and saved me a fortune in solicitors fees! What was the point! ARRGGHH!!! Bimbo, me and both solicitors are angry about it. Ho-hum.

Got the kids for a couple of hours this evening and then collect them on Saturday for a whole week. Off to Cornwall - yay! And then my birthday bash the following weekend...

Finished at 23:00 last night. Which mean by the time I started work this morning I had already done 23.5hrs overtime which will be paid in my August pay packet. Which is also the month I am on holiday for 2 weeks with the kids - YAY!

Blimey. Well Wednesday I finished work at 11am and drove home, after having a nap between 5 and 6am.

A total of 26.5 hours on the trot!

I went home, slept for 3-4 hours and then picked Rhiannon and Chandler up for a bit, taking them to the Wacky Warehouse and then home for tea, before dropping them off around 19:30.

I was then on call overnight in case of problems.

Today, I was in for 08:00, finished at 18:00 and was leaving for work again at 19:00. I'm currently at work hoping an engineer is going to turn up to swap out a faulty ATM card in one of our boxes. Doesnt look like he is going to though :( Going to give up in a minute and go home after setting up an ATM analyzer on one of the servers. Ho-hum...

Check out the time!

I arrived at work yesterday morning at 7.30am and I am still working. Been very hectic to say the least for the past couple of days and today/evening/night/morning I have been working towards restoring a major system at the company where I work. Its been fun :)

I was thinking about going home. But by the time I get home, I would be able to have 1hrs sleep before I had to start back out to work again, so I decided that I may as well stay here and carry on some other stuff.

And I still have stuff to do, log some calls, do a firewall change, etc.

I suspect that I will be sent home before lunch. I promised I would be here for when the users arrive to start testing the solution we have put into place, so I shot myself in the foot really. Mind, it would be so bad if I hadnt have gone out on Monday night and not got home until 2.30am on Tuesday :)

Things have changed again.
Dropped Rhiannon and Chandler off to their new house last night. I said I would call them in the week and at the weekend, as I dont have them. Bimbo then asked if I could have them, as she is now working every Friday night.
So we have now sorted out a new schedule til the end of the year. She also conceded the Christmas issue, so I will now be getting the kids on Christmas Eve so that they wake up on Christmas Day at my house. Every other year :) So thats damn cool.

I picked Rhiannon and Chandler up on Friday evening from Bimbos mums - as I had to go round there to help shift 5 cubic metres of wood bark into her back garden! But then we all got fed, so it was worth it :)

Yesterday, we spent most of the day at Ian and Shellies - with the kids playing (Chandler was pretend mowing the patio for a good 2 hours) and then a BBQ in the evening.

Down the pub today for lunch - Chandler fell asleep as we parked (12:30) and at this moment he still hasnt woken up. Rhiannon then fell asleep around 14:00, so I am in the house with 2 sleeping children.

I'm feeling really down at the moment. I spent the early hours of Saturday morning (03:00 - 04:00) talking someone out of killing themselves, added to a bit of news that, although I am not bothered by, annoyed me greatly. I cant explain right now - but I will in the next few days I would of thought.

Part of me wants to cry, part of me wants to get stoned, part of me wants to drink myself stupid. The only thing keeping my mind off stuff at the moment is Rhiannon and Chandler keeping me busy - but they are asleep of course :(

Only a couple of weeks til our holiday in Cornwall, and I think I have everything apart from food prepared. How sad am I?

You know last night I said it "Sux to be me"?

Well life improved. At around 22:30 last night I was sat in the pub with 3 18yr old girls, who were all discussing breast sizes, etc. This involved them cupping their tits, pushing them around and asking each others opinion.

Well - its 20:35 and I'm at work again. This evening I was swapping some fiber leads as our provider had spotted a db discrepancy on the line when I asked them to check it earlier today...

Sorted out an internet problem for one of my clients this evening as well, plus am totally baffled as to why the brand new machine I built fails to see the floppy drive. I'll work on that during the other evenings this week, if I get chance.

Looking forward to the weekend and seeing Rhiannon and Chandler again. Looks like they might have moved house by Friday when I pick them up as well.

Back in early tomorrow (as I was this morning) to support any fallout from the changes I've just made. Plus I am now going across to the other building to check what the network sniffer has been doing. What a great life I lead!

I was meant to go to out last night clubbing, but got back home too late. Sux to be me...

I was going to do some links, but thought "Sod it". Tomorrow, if all hell doesnt break loose at work, I will get my links page up and running with everything I have posted to the mailing list for the past year - and will ensure that they all still work too.

Its Monday night. Its 20:19. I am at work :(

Mind you - everything I have touched so far has worked so thats a good thing. Off to another building now to do some more work!

Spoke to Rhiannon today. Her throat is "a little better thankyou" when I asked... She asked me if we can have a roast dinner on Sunday at the pub this weekend. We normally do, but yesterday no-one else was going, so we didnt. Cool :)
