Blimey! Has my life got so boring, that I have to detail what I am going to be preparing for Xmas dinner? If I was a horse, they would have shot me by now. So heres some juicy stuff to get you all going!
Things went a little odd last night, when I got a text from Tracey (remember her?), being chatty, wishing me a Merry Xmas and asking me round.
Anyway, I'm with Shell now, and I'm planning on keeping it that way, so I think I will respond with a "have a good xmas, see you next year" kind of thing and leave it at that. Once again, I have managed to have no-one for bloody ages, and when I find someone I can be with, something jumps up and bites me. Frankly, I was still convinced it was a brush off - but obviously not.
I'm truly happy as things stand right now and I'm planning on keeping it that way. Shell and I are right together; she loves me to bits and so do I - but don't tell anyone OK!

Well, I bought the last couple of presents yesterday and I am now done with presents. Just need to wrap all the buggers now...
Also went to M&S and the majority of the food for Xmas day. Bought a Turkey joint, crispy potato slices, stuffing/sausage/bacon selection, baby carrots, peas/sweetcorn. Then last night I bought cranberry sauce, smoked salmon, eggs, ham and sausage rolls. I now have everything I need to provide Xmas breakfast, dinner and a cold tea. Excellent :)
Also got something for Shells Mum but still looking for Shells step-dad. I will find something, I just dont know where at the moment...
Wrapped and delivered presents for Ian and Shells kids and Ben and Emmas kids. Still need to wrap my kids and a load of others - frankly, I have bought too much!
Didn't see Shell last night as she was working, but will be seeing her when I get back from work this afternoon. Off to work early, so that I can leave early. If I skip lunch, I can work an 8 til 3 and be home by 4. Then more wrapping, down the pub to exchange more pressies at 9.30 and then back home for more wrapping. It just never ends!

Had a great day yesterday. Spent several hours at my sisters, exchanged presents etc. Rhiannon got a colour-me-in fashion shop thing, which occupied her for soooo long it was untrue. Chandler got a wooden jigsaw thing. We then spent the rest of the time there playing Ker-Plunk :)
Dropped the kids off in the evening after tea and discussed with Bimbo the arrangements for the kids over the next couple of weeks.
24/12 3pm til 26/12 8am
27/12 10am til 5pm
31/12 5pm til 7.30pm
7/1 5pm til 7.30pm
Picked Shell up from work and we went here, there and everywhere seeing people, collecting stuff, getting food, etc. I'm spending Boxing Day with Shell at her Mums, and have to get all her presents up there somehow. I havent got anything for her Mum and Dad though - might have to get something urgently this week. It'll be bad turning up to spend the day with them and to not have bought them anything. Though I doubt they have got me anything.
I also left my phone at home today... which I am totally annoyed about, as I cant text Shell, etc, etc
Going shopping at lunchtime to get some presents, plus also after work to M&S to get the food for Wednesday.

Everything is OK with Shell. I'm not happy with myself, but she is fine. She hurt her knee yesterday at work - pulled a ligament, so she was in loads of pain last night at home, with her leg treated and strapped up. She couldnt even go out last night and might not be able to work today. Fortunately, we were planning on staying in this evening and watching the final episodes of BtVS.
Off to see my sister today. Will be staying for dinner and exchanging xmas pressies for the kids.
Yesterday afternoon we went to Louis' birthday party at North Common Village Hall in Bristol. 30 kids running around screaming - it was excellent :) He is off into hospital on Monday to have an operation on his eyelid. Gave Wendy a hug when I left and I hope it all goes OK.
Wrapped Shell's presents last night, so she will then be able to help me wrap everyone elses when she comes round later. Also sorted them all out into seperate area and have worked out I need buy 5 presents and I am done. Pretty good going.
Also worked out my shopping list for Xmas Day food with the kids. Asda here I come...
Chandler decided to crayon on the wall beside his bed this morning - and a quick google told me that using WD40 or wetwipes will get it off easily. Cool :)

| Bad man |
|
I'm a bad man. I did something horrible to Shell this morning.
We got home around 1.30am and went straight to sleep (I'd been drinking, she hadn't). The alarm went off at 9am, as I had to pick the kids up 10am. We didnt get out of bed, IYSWIM.
At 10.10am, Bimbo called to see where I was and I told her I was running late due to setting my alarm wrong.
What I should have said was that I had been detained by a beautiful, sexy and intelligent female who I've fallen for completely.
Shell was not impressed in the slightest and I have spent all day feeling like a heel and quite rightly so! When I turned up to get the kids, I told them why I was really late, but it was too late by then. Shell is OK with it now, but frankly I'm not. Why the hell didnt I want to tell my ex- the truth? For fear she would somehow punish me for being happy? Well, yes. She has done that before I suppose. But not a good enough reason. Urgh! If I could punch myself I would.
Went into town after picking the kids up and seem to have finished off the Xmas shopping. Maybe 1 or 2 presents still to get and I'm done. Tuesday is the gangs present swapping evening (8pm at the Observatory), so that should be cool.
Not seeing Shell until Sunday night. After spending a week with her 24x7, its really hard not being around her all the time. I mean, I know we have to work and everything... We got on so well last week - neither of us got bored/annoyed/fed up about anything - and I've never been like that before. Freaky!
The kids and I also decorated the Xmas tree today. Pictures are in the gallery (under the Miscellaneous section) plus I have put some pictures up from Center Parcs.

Well - I'm back.
I'm very relaxed, had a fantastic time due to Shell coming with me at the last minute, obviously.
Center Parcs is so damn relaxing its untrue. I slept truly well, spent my time doing what I wanted to do (reading, lazing around, etc) and spent a fair amount of time in the Swimming Plaza enjoying the jacuzzi's and the rapids.
Shell has a fear of water - that I didnt find out about until Monday - but as she trusts me, she has pretty much beaten it now. She loved the rapids and yesterday evening, I even had her doing rolie-polies in the pool!
Evening were spent listening to rock music, playing cards, drinking and other stuff that I shall not mention here. We got back today to find loads of post, missed deliveries, etc, so we went around and sorted that all out before dropping Shell at work.
Spending a whole week off the net was a good experience. Last time I did it - I hated it; this time I didn't really notice at all. I may try it again sometime (although I am deading going through the 900 emails)...
Off to see the parents at my sisters this afternoon, as they are visiting from France. Frankly, I wouldnt have bothered but I have to go and collect a parcel from the ParcelFarce depot which is about 3 mins drive from my sisters... Ho-hum!
Louis' 4th birthday party tomorrow afternoon, so the kids will be going to that once I've picked them up at 10.
As I remember more about the holiday, I'll post.

| Off and Away |
|
Saturday night went well. Met Shells parents, etc and that all went pretty good. It would appear they like me - but then again, I am such a likeable fellow :)
Spent a lot of Sunday in bed and had tea at Shells house. Roast chicken - yum!
This morning I dropped Shell off at work and then went to have my hair cut. Short. Really, really short. But not too short. Then tried to go and see the kids to drop off their holiday money, but they had already left for Center Parcs in Nottingham.
Me? I'm packing and tidying up and then I too am off to Center Parcs. But the one at Longleat. So there wont be any updates until Friday. Ian and Shelli arent coming, as things went tits-up for them yesterday morning (money wise). Which is a real bummer as that would have been great fun. Got a couple of friends coming instead.
Shopping this afternoon and then I'll be driving down to Longleat. Have a good weekk y'all!

Yesterday was fantastic. It has to be said that I really wasnt looking forward to it during the day, but when I got dressed as 4.30pm and we made our way to the first pub, I started getting into the mood.
By the time we got to La Tascas (Spanish/Mexican Tapas Restaurant), I was quite merry (mostly due to the amount of rum consumed). We had a great meal, a real laugh around the table and then we buggered off to the Bristol Bierkeller to see Electric 6!
The support act were called KidSymphony and they were OK. The lead singer looked a bit like Damon Albarn from Blur.
Electric 6 came on and launched immediately into their excellent gig. Short songs, loud and energetic and the crowd loved it. We were stood to the left of the stage next to the speaker rig, and were able to see and hear everything perfectly. When they launched into Danger, Danger, High Voltage, the crowd went made. Even better live than from the album. Another couple of tracks and then they were done.
After 5 minutes of chanting Gay Bar at the stage, they returned and did Radio Ga-Ga by Queen. Awesome fun. When they finished that song, the crowd imeediately started chanting again. Dick Valentine then challenged the crowd by saying "If you hear you say that one more time, I'm gonna shoot you motherfuckers in the head and then fuck the hole!"
The chanting didnt stop.
So they played Gay Bar and we went nuts. 1 more track and it was all over. Excellent gig.
Went to catch a taxi home and as I climbed in to ask how much to get home, I spied a 10 note on the floor of the taxi and picked it up. The taxi driver told me it was 40 to Weston, so I went to hand him the 10 note I'd found - but it was actually 4x 10 notes, so I got home for free. Someone went out last night and dropped their money, but I hope they would be pleased to know they had helped a drunk get home safely :)
Shell came round at 11am this morning to wake me up (although the postman had done a good job of that a little earlier). So we went shopping in town and I bought a load more presents for my mates children. I only need a couple more now and I am done. Asda here I come!
We then had lunch with Shell's Dad (Russell), step-mum and step-sister (Ella) - which he paid for. Top bunch of people. Also saw Mary (Ians mum) in there, which was quite funny.
Off out tonight and then a relaxing morning in bed tomorrow (I hope). Shell is working from 2pm til 8pm, so I will be driving up to Bristol to drop a PC off at Andys and pick up my stuff from the office that I left there last night.
