| Ibiza |

So last week I was in Ibiza. There was me, Simon, Amy, Kye and Barry. I'd never met Barry before (but knew of him) but that was cool - they all ended up being the best bunch of people to party with.
We got there on Friday 29th, showered, ate and hit the West End and finally Eden. Simon and I staggered in around 7.30am only to be woken up by Amy at around 8.30 - beaming and bouncing around like a loon. Essentially, this continued for the whole week.
Simon and I are the same age but the other 3 are in their early twenties - yet Simon and I were staying in the clubs until they kicked us out almost, whereas the youngsters were going home at 3ish every night - bunch of lily livered lightweights (nice bit of alliteration there). When 2 older guys can out drink, out dance and out last younger people, it makes you wonder. And without any artificial stimulation (Proplus, etc). They couldn't believe how pumped we were...
Free drinks are a plenty over there - which is great if you like Peach Schnapps. If you don't, then forget it :)
Kye got a couple of sets while he was out there (he is a DJ) - one was a 6pm set at "The Beach Bar" near Bar M and another was 10-11pm at "Hush" - where Miss Devine (Sam) has a residency and is a friend of Barry and Kye's. And man - can she spin a set or what! She did a set in Play2 for Charlies Angels night and frankly wow!
Anyway - Sunday night saw us at Judgement Sunday where Lisa Lashes was truly awesome.
Monday saw us at Eden again for "Dusted" where I was well excited to be entdeviceertained by Hoxton Whores, Norman Jay and Tim Sheridan. Fucking awesome!
Tuesday night saw us at Gatecrasher which was pretty cool.
Wednesday saw us at Es Paradis for DJ Sammy and a water party. Amazing. Even though I didn't get wet - it was a sight to see.
Thursday was more relaxed, drinking Sangria at Cafe Mambo, watching the sun go down, before Simon and I hit the strip. I got back, pissed, around 4am and enjoyed some attention from 2 lovely lasses in the apartment next door.
All our days were spent at Kanya which is the most awesome place to be tanning yourself if you want to surrounded by semi-naked/topless tottie! And the tottie was amazing! Most them were the PR girls from the clubs, so you would see them (slightly more) dressed in the evenings. Lovely.
On the whole, one of the best holiday I have ever had! I reckon I lost a few pounds as well due to dancing like a loon for 5hrs every day. I shall be returning next year (as will Simon) but we will have to book with another company as the company we went with only allow up to 35yr olds and we will both be past that when we go next year :(
We got back Friday and after a shower and a shave, I headed back out and did a DJ set with John at The Alex. I should apologise to the patrons - as I really bassed it up after a week of clubbing and played some awesome tunes. Which make or may not have been appreciated. Ho-hum!
I then slept soundly from Saturday evening through Sunday. Man I was knackered. Seeing things, colours, etc. Very strange. But a decent sleep sorted that all out.

| Chris Benoit |
|
So last night, we watched the Monday night RAW broadcast (recorded) that was essentially a Chris Benoit retrospective. It was touching but now seems pretty macabre and very wrong.
Bear in mind, that at the time the show aired, WWE knew that Benoit and his family were dead but did not know the circumstances surrounding it. In those circumstances, what they did was definately "seems like a good idea at the time". However, as of last night/this morning, the full details of the horror that was took place in that home has come to light.
Chris Benoit murdered his wife Nancy ("Woman") on the Saturday using a piece of electrical wire and on the Sunday smothered his son with a plastic bag. He left a Bible with each of them. He then hung himself on the Monday in his weight room.
The WWE have removed all references to Benoits retrospective. For more information check out WWE.com and this Associated Press article.

| WTF? |
|
I have named today - WHAT THE FUCK DAY!
First up - Simon (one of the guys I am going to Ibiza with and the organiser of it) has told me that due to issues at work - he might not be able to go! This is a tragedy - but hopefully we will get it worked out.
Secondly, I got some information about some very close friends of mine that has quite frankly - knocked my socks off. I'm not saying what it is - but quite frankly WTF!
Thirdly, Chris Benoit! Maud texted me this morning to say that the Monday night RAW was dedicated to Benoit cos he was dead. He was found dead on Monday along with his wife and 7yr old son. Police are reportedly treating it as a murder-suicide.
I'll be watching the show tonight with Maud and Mandy and apparently Vince is back - the whole "he's dead" story has been dropped due to these bizarre circumstances. For those of you that care - I'll update more as I can.
I have also started up a new blog. I wont reveal the name of it yet but it will be dedicated to music. Dance music in particular and especially dance remixes of different genre records. When I've got a nice amount of content, I'll let you know.
My packing list for Ibiza is complete, my shopping and actually doing the packing is not. I will have tomorrow and Thursday to get it all finalised, so all is not lost :)

| Hows it been? |
|
So here we are - 22nd June 2007.
Stuff I've been up to:
Friday 8th June - DJ
Yep - I became a DJ for the night at The Alexandra Bar in Weston-super-Mare (the only gay venue in North Somerset). My set list from that evening, included the following:
Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out - Freak Power
High Again (High On Emotion) - Thomas_Falke_
Proper Education (Radio Edit) - Eric_Prydz_vs_Floyd
All Good Things Come to an End (Kaskade Radio Mix) - Nelly Furtado
Beautiful Liar (Freemasons Vox Mix) - Beyonce & Shakira
Somethin' Serious (Radio Edit) - Audio Club
Warped Bass (Radio Edit) - Richard Grey
Shut Up and Sleep With Me (YMCA Mix) - Sin With Sebastian
I Want To Break Free (Vincent Vik Remix) - Queen
For An Angel - Paul Van Dyk
How To Save A Life (Ultimix) - The Fray
Chasing Cars (Diffusion Dance Mix) - Snow Patrol
Plus a shed of commercial dance stuff. Needless to say, it went down a storm. We had the dance stage packed for most of the night. John and my selection were quite random (he played The Nolans and cheese like that with some R&B thrown in for good measure) and the mixture worked a treat.
To all accounts, John and I were "fabulous" and we have been put onto the rota, so we will now be playing every fourth Friday. Hopefully, I'll be picking up a couple of more if I can - just me, some trashy tunes and try to introduce some un-released and maybe mashups to the crowd as well.
Sunday sees me in Hyde Park seeing Joe Satriani, Jet and the almighty Aerosmith! Should be freaking awesome!
I had the kids for both the past weekends and we have had a whale of a time. I'll hopefully see them on Saturday, as on Friday- I'm off to Ibiza! Yee-fucking-hah! Several days of clubbing, drinking, sunbathing, relaxing and clubbing again. Should be pretty awesome!
Saying that, I need to start locating what clothes I can take with me, find all my electrical stuff, etc, ensure all my washing is up to date and go shopping tomorrow to get a few things. That leaves me next Thursday (which is when my holiday starts even though we dont fly until the Friday) to get any final items. I need some clothes for clubbing in...

| Clever little bugger... |

So here is a cool thing. A few months ago, I posted about how to use SSH tunneling to allow RDP to work to your home desktop.
Well, now I've gone a step further.
I now have tunnels setup for the following:
smtps
ldaps
squid
This means, that by firing up a single SSH session, I can RDP to my desktop machine, access/send mail using a local client from my mail server at home *and* surf the web anonymously.
So after installing PortableApps suite on my pen drive and pointing Thunderbird to my SSH tunnel to the mail server - I can send/receive my mail from whereever I am.
And, because I have squid installed on a box at home, pointing Firefox at the SSH tunnel to it, means my web requests go down the tunnel to home, out to net, back to the proxy, back down the tunnel to moi!
How cool is that!
Friday night I shall be DJing at the Alexandra Bar in Weston. A set list will be provided over the weekend - depending on whether it went down well or not :)

| iPhone |
|
So, something I have been keeping track of over the past few months, but haven't really spoken about is the new Apple iPhone.
Check out the 3 adverts below and then tell me that you don't want one...
Finally, a single device that *could* be master of all. In fact, if I cannot have a Palm Treo - I'll have this instead. Sod that - I just want one of these :)

| Hello strangers! |
|
So its been a while (again) but here I am, back and with my creative talents flowing.
On Sunday, I made something cool for the kids - check it out here. Poundland made it possible, 2 film case, 350 straws and a pack of balloons - 4
My next trick will be to make this - but that will be for me - not the kids, I just need an electric lighter thingy now as I couldnt find one over the weekend. My friends Chris might have made over the weekend - I need to find out how it went :)
I spent the majority of Bank Holiday monday asleep - I really needed it. I think I shall do the same this evening - go to sleep early and try to get myself back in a decent sleep cycle.
More updates as they occur...

| Ow! It hurts... |
|
Sunday saw me playing football for the first time in many, many years, back in my old role as a goalie.
Our team won 10-6 which was reasonable, I let a couple of silly ones in but did OK.
However, due to being crouched over, etc for such a long period of time - my (to use their proper names) rectus femoris and vastus medialis are fucking killing me! I can just about walk but going downstairs is nigh on impossible! Ho-hum...
In other news - I installed kPlayList on my server at home so that I can stream music to myself at work - huzzah! Now I have full access to my music collection from anywhere. It also has a fantastic randomiser function which I am using constantly :)
Last night saw at Mauds watching WWE Backlash - specifically to see the Undertaker in action. Vince McMahon was handed the ECW World Title (devious bugger that he is) but the Undertaker/Batista "Last Man Standing" match was pretty awesome.
Tonight is Liverpool vs Chelski in the second leg of the semi-finals in the Champions League - come on you Reds!
Plus I have to visit my nan this evening to show her how she can use a laptop, to see if she wants to buy one. She's 93!

| Time for an update |
|
So whats going on in the life of Tudor?
John and I have been booked for a DJ set on 8th June
Next week, I will be back at work full time
On Saturday night (21st April), I raised 200 for charity by being 1/3rd of a drinking challenge - I was the only one that didn't throw up part way through the night.
I followed that up by discovering that when I got home and sobered up, I had brought a woman home from the pub - who then stayed over. No shagging involved. Just chat and sleep.
I now have a mad woman causing me grief (how do I do it?!) as when she woke up, she reckons I was furiously masterbating next to her! Which I wasn't. Had I been, I would have got her to join in FFS!
I have several concerts lined up - Magnum, Calvin Harris, Aerosmith and T4 on the Beach between now and July.
I have signed up (and invited several friends) to twitter to save money on group texting :)
Been getting a lot of interest on GDFF - don't know if its gonna lead anywhere though.
I'm sure much more has happened, but I cant think of it at the moment. This evening, I'll be down the local for a couple of swift ones - as the brewery are in and are giving out free drinks vouchers! Got to pick up the kids and take them to their Nans first though (Hi Jonete!). I've organised a baby sitter for a couple of hours tomorrow night, so that I can go see a friend who is celebrating getting her new job. Not drinking though, as spending the following day in bed when the kids want to be active is not a good thing.
I realised earlier this week that I never sorted out my article on a Web Office. Even though I work almost exclusively online for the majority of my stuff - very strange. Maybe I should document the stuff I use on a daily basis?
Thats enough for now - Jon should be coming down next month, so that should be cool. Busy, busy, busy...
