Blimey. Its Friday morning. I havent been to work all week due to being ill, although I did email in and ask for some work as I was going stir-crazy! Am I mad or what...
Anyhoo - today is the big day - Ian and Shelly are getting married this afternoon. As I'm still not completely alright, I have checked for quick and easy access to the loo - just in case.
I'm still working on the speech this morning - fine tuning it, etc - Ian has yet to write his speech, so I feel a little more prepared.
The rehearsal went fine on Wednesday evening, so the actual ceremony should be OK. The reception and the speeches - not so much :)
I will update tomorrow (when I've got the kids) with details and pictures.

I'm still ill :(
Thats 3 days now and I'm hating it. Paid all my bills this morning using my internet banking, so I am now all up-to-date. Just to pay the rent and I'm done.
Wedding rehearsal tonight at 8pm and the main day is Friday. My best man speech is mostly done, just needs rehearsing now.
I have spent my time in bed, online and watching films (in between running to the bathroom). Watched Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Halloween, The Amityville Horror, They, Scary Movie 3 and Duplex.
And that reminds me that I should put my film review up...

Its now Monday morning and I'm not well. I have a dodgy stomach and have been on the loo all morning :( and am therefore not going to work. Currently watching "Killer Klowns From Outer Space"...
Had a fantastic week last week with the kids. Getting up early, getting them dressed and fed, and then making Rhiannons packed lunch before dropping her off at school and spending the day doing nothing with Chandler. Absolutely brilliant. I could do it forever.
Dropped them off on Saturday evening, as Bimbo and Pete were back from holiday. Went out in town to celebrate Ruths 19th birthday. They all went out dressed as Gangsters (with trilby's, mini skirts and fishnet tights!). Met a few new people (friends of theirs from Uni and work) including Ruths friends Jo, Sophie and someone else :)
Went out yesterday evening to Cheers/Back Bar to mourn the death of one of Westons musicians. Very touching, some great music and a tribute show to happen soon. Very sad about it as he was young and talented :(

So, its Sunday lunchtime. Chandler is asleep and Rhiannon is watching Peter Pan, so I thought I would take the time to update this her thingy.
Wednesday was the last update, so Thursday - beat Ben at Snooker 2-1 (for the first time in ages). Was meant to be going to see Pete to celebrate his b/day, but had too much to do. I was ironing my clothes for Friday night at 00:30!
We went out in Bristol on Friday night. Started off in Lloyds Bar on the waterfront and then made our way to Chicagos. From there we moved to 'The 80s Bar' and it was incredible. Space Invader lamp shaded, flashing rubik cubes above the dance floor and solid 80s tracks the whole time. We then moved on to Walkabout and stayed there til 2ish. Managed to prevent Andy G from getting bottled...
Collected Rhiannon and Chandler from their nans on Saturday lunchtime and then made my way to Bristol for the afb-ot BBDO (Big Bristol Day Out). Met up with El Maderator, Tom U, Spud, Vicky, Chris, Eddie, Carl and Troggy. Ace timem and the kids enjoyed themselves as well.
Off to a 4yr olds birthday party soon... Does life get much better than this? Oh yeah - Bimbo left me her Shogun to drive around in :)

I spoke to the Inland Revenue on Monday about my debt. They want me to make a payment in a couple of weeks and then call them back to discuss how to deal with it from then on. Looking better than "We'll make you bankrupt" they said a couple of weeks ago :)
Bimbo has booked her holiday and is flying out from Bristol on Friday evening. Her mum has the kids overnight and I will be collecting them on Saturday morning. Looks like I will be having Shauni as well for a few days, meaning that I have to get the bunk beds made up.
Bought some more Xmas presents earlier in the week - looks like I have everything or everything ordered for the kids already, including Chandlers birthday presents. Just need huge amounts of wrapping paper now...
We also won our football match: 12-4 which was pretty damn good. Not playing next week, as I am on holiday with the kids :)

And yet another week has passed.
I had the kids last weekend. Spent Saturday afternoon at Paul and Wendys, and then saw my sister for lunch on the Sunday.
Anyhow, this last week has been pretty good.
Monday evening - played 5-a-side (we lost) and then went to Sands with Tim. Unfortunately, I had hurt my arm playing footie..
Tuesday - came home from work early due to useless right arm. Went to hospital and got it checked out.
Wedneday - had Rhiannon and Chandler for a few hours and then spent until 2am at Ian and Shelli's.
Thursday - went to Cheers/Back Bar for the acoustic night and spent most of the night with Shelly (different one from above). She was just recovering from the flu and was not well at all. We swapped numbers again, as we had both been texting each other over the past few weeks but not getting any responses - due to using the wrong numbers - doh!
Friday - went out with Tim again and ended up at Sands after The Cabot. Bumped into Marcus who was on his leaving do and didnt get home til gone 4am. Did meet some nice girls on the dancefloor though, so that was alright.
Saturday - Was meant to go to my mate Tecnos wedding, but the car let me down by being an arse on the motorway. Not happy. :(
So I went back to bed in the afternoon. Then went out again about 9pm. One of the girls (Laura) from the previous night was working there.
Sunday - got home at 4am again after going to the Sands. Slept until 5pm. Went round to Bimbos at 7pm to babysit Rhiannon and Chandler for a couple of hours while she and Shauni went to see Pete play at Nicks Bar.
Football and The Sands again tonight, I expect. I really should try getting some sleep...

No updates for a week!
Right. Been at work a lot. Had a W32/Blaster outbreak at a subsidiary and also with ourselves and then a core network outage overnight (Friday morning). That meant I spent most of Friday in bed - it was ace.
Had the kids for a few hours on Wednesday. Took them to Asda*Walmart in Bristol, and this weekened Rhiannon will be sorting out her letter to Santa :)
Their new bunkbeds turned up on Tuesday, but I havent got them together yet, so that will have to wait until next week. That frees up a bedroom for me to move my computers into - meaning I will have more space, plus not have stupid amounts of noise in my bedroom.
Pete came round last night to let me know that he is moving in with Bimbo (although I had guessed as much anyway). Need to tell the landlord, so that we can work out the new rent, etc. Should see her today (providing she is working)

Went out after work on Friday with Andy G, Andy F, Martin and Paul G. We met up with a load of old Lloyds/IBMers at the waterfront and then made our way around Bristol, ending up at the Walkabout in Corn Street.
Had a fantastic time there and met a fine young lady by the name of Kim. Texting has ensued :)
Tomorrow night is 5-a-side, but we arent playing until 21:45!!!!

Chris pointed me at another "have-to-have" gadget today (after I pointed out some to him). This

is a network MP3 player to connect to your amp, thats is capable of working off of network shares! Check it out here.

Looks like I've sold another PC, which should add some money to my "Buy a better car" fund. If can sell one of my cars (the Volvo) and get the Cavalier MOTd and on the road, it should all work out quite nicely.
However, I've seen a couple of things that I would love to have:
This little beastie is the Joytech JSDV32. It supports DVD/ VCD/ SVCD/ MP3/ CDDA/ and JPEG, although I have no idea if it is multi-region or not. Slightly larger than an Amaray case, and only 299.99. Very tempting.
Something else I have had my eyes on for a while are the mini-itx systems. People do the strangest things with them. I however, am more interested in this little piece of news. The idea of a secreted away PC in the car is becoming more and more of a reality.
Finally though, something I can dream about.

This is something I could really live with on my desk. Although I would probably need a much larger desk. Oh yeah, and $18000 to buy it with :)
