My plans for the next week and a bit:

Tuesday 19th
Xmas lunch in the canteen
Xmas dinner/party with the department
Staying in Bristol overnight

Wednesday 20th
Get home and frantically start wrapping presents

Thursday 21st
More frantic present wrapping and hiding of presents

Friday 22nd
Go Xmas food shopping
Pick up kids and keep them til the 24th

Sunday 24th
Drop kids off at their mums
Wrap anything that I forgot

Monday 25th
Do the present thing with Shell
Xmas lunch at Shells mums
Visit MrMan & Ian @ Ians - drop Ians kids presents off
Drink and pass out

Tuesday 26th
Pick up kids - have Xmas day all over again with them

Wednesday 27th
Working from home with the kids

Thursday 28th
Kids at their Nans - I'm at work

Friday 29th
Working from home with the kids
Drop them home around 6pm
Relax...

Then start the New Years celebrations!

If all that goes to plan, I will be most amazed.

There are a couple of things weighing on my mind at the moment:
1/ Getting all the presents sorted out and wrapped
2/ Working out what to serve me and the kids on Boxing Day
3/ Hoping that the 1 present that is on back-order gets to me for the 23rd
4/ Sex

(they are in no particular order)

Another bugbear is what to cook on Boxing Day. The kids (and I) would have had the whole turkey thing on the main day, so I think I will steer clear. A buffet for lunch (sausage rolls, "pigs in blankets", cheese/pineapple on sticks, sandwiches, etc) and a late roast in the evening. This of course entails that I actually plan what to eat and make up a shopping list...

Oh. I didn't get that job in Ireland, so it looks like I'm gonna be around here for a while yet :)
