Yum...

Yorkie Raisin & Biscuit

Why is it so damn good?

Last Friday evening was spent at MrMans house and a good time was had by all - although I appear to have been the only one that got any sleep!

MrMan also had his birthday on the 9th - so here is a link especially for him. Enjoy!

We watched a few films. Equilibrium, Monster Man and The Man. A fairly awesome mix of films and the first time I had watched The Man. Bloody funny!

This evening I shall be going round to MrMans house to assist him in devouring his boobs. Erm. His boobs cake. Honest! Ian bought him a birthday cake in the shape of some boobs...

A nice slice of boob and a cup of tea can work wonders :)

Um. What else? Oh yes. Some recommendations:

TV - you should be watching "That Mitchell and Webb Look" on BBC3 on Tuesday evenings. It is awesome. The humour contained therein is the kind of stuff my mates and I would come up with while pissed as farts, but it works when you are sober. Some of the characters are truly superb and "Numberwang" is inspired.

Literature - I am currently working my way through a load of David Baldacci ebooks on my Palm E2. Bloody ace they are too. I am 2 books in of about 10. Plus I read a Nelson Demille book before that but cant remember its name. That was pretty gripping too. Following them, I have some vintage Philip K Dick to read - you cant beat the writings of a man on mind altering drugs!

Music - Counting Crows. I put "Recovering the Satellites" on my iPod so that I would get a few more CC hits when in shuffle mode. God they are good.

In fact I introduced Jon to them many years ago. I think we were listening to them in my car when I was driving him home. And we may have broken down (probably run out of petrol...) and he was then forced to listen to them for some time. Which worked out OK, as he is now a big fan.

For those MySpace users who want to grab some favoured MP3s - go and checkout MySpace MP3 Gopher. Excellent piece of software. You can also grab a little application that informs you of messages, comments, requests, etc from the same guy called MySpace Informant. Quality!

Anyway, enough babble - here are some links:

Sexual Consent - a video about making sure you get a sexual consent form signed before engaging in making "the beast with two backs".

iPod Randomness - an article about how the iPod "shuffle" function sometimes seems a little freaky

200 Online Playable NES games

Some cool free downloadable fonts
- that I may have mentioned before

Muppet music remixes/mashups
- there is some quality stuff here. It has also made me want to track down the "Avenue Q" album...

Also, some news items I spotted in some RSS feeds - Poor woman!
The BBC investigate what happens when you put an unprotected XP machine onto the net. Part 1, Part 2

I am also planning on going to the Theatre both this month and next. First up is Tim Vine playing at the end of October at Westons Playhouse and then going to see "Mitchell and Webb Live" at the Colston Hall in November. Much shortling will follow..
