It's not a big thing. I had one weepy moment last Saturday, but apart from that, I haven't really been bothered about being halfway through my life.
I'll explain about Saturday. Some woman called at the door doing a survey on internal doors (yeah - what a great job!). At the end of the survey she filled in a few personal details and asked me to select my age. Options were:
<16
17-24
25-34
35-44
45-54
55+
EEK! Hold the phone!
It suddenly slammed into me that for the past 9 years I had been completing surveys using the "25-34" section and now.... now.... I was moving onto the new one!
Frankly, I was devastated. Because of that change, would I still qualify for paid surveys, freebies and offers, etc. Would I now be too old to answer questions on TV watching, internet usage, etc! Was my life now over?
Apparently it isnt, so I have nothing to worry about apart from more grey hairs.
This evening is my quiet birthday bash at Shells Mums. With a bit of luck, they will be making me JaffZilla as my cake. Pictures will of course be provided :)
I shall update tomorrow with a present list. Until then, I await your best wishes, etc, etc (or Paypal donations if you want!)
