Here are a couple of fun sites to help you waste your time#:
Funny Games - a massive collection of online playable games - from RPG to arcade thru puzzle thru to WTF? Bubbels is my current favourite. Thanks to Su for this site.
I Play All Day - and even more...
Next Sunday (23rd) afternoon. we will be making our way to Coventry airport to catch a plane. We have a 4 day (3 night) break booked in - Venice. I cannot wait and Shell is pretty choked too. As a follow up to our break we had in Paris in September, this should be cool (or very wet!). And, as always, I have already started looking for somewhere to go later in the year. Another break - not a full blown holiday. Recommendations would be welcome. There are however a couple of stipulations:- City breaks are preferable as Shell has distinct shopping requirements
- Non-UK and Non-US destinations - due to price. The US is too expensive to get to and the UK is almost as expensive as going abroad.
- It cannot be somewhere exceedingly hot or sunny
Tonight is the Charity gig I mentioned a few days ago. If you can get along and support it (5 entry) and you are in the local area (Weston-super-Mare), please do. But don't take up my spot at the bar, 'cos I may have to hurt you :) I will provide pictures and review tomorrow (if I can get the pictures online).
The Great Guinness Book Of Records hunt is going really well. Remember, eBay is your friend. We have bought loads and now have a couple for sale. if you fancy a 1977 or 1980 edition of the GBOR, click here and here. Cheers.
#: I would like to point out that I cannot access these from work as the filtering system (that I am partially involved in setting up) prevents me from doing so. Its quite likely that you might not be able to as well. So do it from home and dont waste the precious resources that your workplace provides you with. Sheah - right!
