John Peel Has Died

On the drive between buildings earlier, I heard that one of my favourite people, John Peel, had died. Click here for BBC missives about the man.

I always loved his witty comments and if it wasnt for him doing late night shows during my formative teenage years, I wouldnt be the person I am today. And I wouldnt appreciate Napalm Death the way I do today. The amount of music he opened my mind up to cannot be listed - but includes Led Zeppelin, The Undertones, The Smiths, et al. His shows have never been equalled on radio.
