Well, lets get the news sorted out first and then I'll do some rambling:
- Andy and Neil are fine and are back from Peru
- My net connection at home was not working from the 17th to 20th, but Pipex fixed it yesterday
- On Tuesday, the clutch pedal on my car went crazy and kept sticking to the floor.
- Enough WD40 can fix problems with your clutch pedal
- I was in court on Thursday...
The court thing went a bit of both ways. We were there to have 4 statements filed in support of mine and Jonete's statements. Bimbo of course objected and 2 of them were dismissed, but 2 were still permitted. Which is a little victory really. Anyway, the reason one of them was dismissed, was due to that "contact had been agreed" - which surprised both me and my solicitor, as we knew nothing about it. Apparently, a letter is in the post, offering me 3 hours every other Sunday for the next 3 months!! What a load of crap. Even the Judge commented on that!
Anyway, the judge said that as contact was no longer being contested (for me) then could we arrange some interim contact. So we tried, but the kids are away on holiday from this weekend until the Sunday of the Bank Holiday Weekend, I am away the whole of the Bank Holiday Weekend and Rhiannon then goes back to school that week and then we are back at court on the Thursday. Bimbo made some underbreath comments during the discussions (the maturity of the woman continually amazes me) and I decided we may as well wait for the pre-trial on September 2nd. We will have the CAFCASS report then...
