Living the life

This weekend, we managed to accomplish almost nothing - and once again, it was great. We went shopping on Saturday (got some small pressies I can send to the kids) and didnt go out on Saturday night - which is unusual. Unfortunately, I couldnt sleep on Saturday night (or last night come to that), and this morning - the reason become self-evident. Sunday was spent watching Angel, playing Dr Robotniks Mean Machine and Flicky (one of the unlockable games from the Sonic Collection on the GC) and lazing around in bed, interspersed with food, drink and the occasional sexual intervention :)

For the past couple of days, my eyes have been sore and itchy, but I put that down to lack of sleep - although the inability to sleep should have been another pointer. This morning, I dropped Shell of at work, parked the car and walked 3 minutes (maybe) to the train station. By the time I walked into the train station, I had snot and tears streaming down my face.

Oh yeah - the hay-fever is back.

So there I am, sat on the train, sans tissues, trying to surropticiously remove the snot before it runs down my face. The back of my hand and back of fingers played an important part in this.

God - the woman sat next to me probably had her flesh crawling at the sight and sound of this creepy guy, sniffing and snorting, wiping his eyes and wiping snot on the back of his hands for the whole train journey. Thats why I hate public transport. And now I have become the thing I hate!

I don't get it every year. Last year I had it quite bad, but today - crikey! It's 9.15ish and I already have a bad headache. I think I shall go and get some Clarityn or something. However, being in a filtered air-conditioned building has got all the snot slowing down and my eyes are now just itchy again as opposed to streaming.

You know me - I took another test :)

What Famous Leader Are You?

Thank to Roger for that one...

Oh and thanks to Stilgar for informing me about the incorrect date for the pub crawl. July the 8th, July the 8th. And please remember that I am going out in fancy dress, answering questions, finding pubs and drinking in them for charity. Last year, about 20000 was raised...
