Had an ace weekend. Went out drinking on Friday night (and might have danced at some point, but I'm a bit hazy on that subject) and then got home before 3am. Spent virtually all of Saturday in bed, which was really cool.

Saturday night was a bit wonky. I was dead tired and fell asleep and so Shell (thinking I was cranky) went home. She texted me just before midnight to say "Good night. X" which woke me up. I then frantically searched the house trying to find her before texting "Where are you?" to her. She was at her mums in bed, about to fall asleep! We chatted for a while and then we both went to sleep, only for me to arrive at her house for 8am to be with her. All a misunderstanding, so thats OK.

Sunday was spent shopping and feeding the ducks at "Backwell Lake Nature Reserve" - ok, Shell :)

Work today has been quite "deep". Am working on a project to implement a DR solution for our external email that will include creating 2 new VLANs, setting up VRRP between 2 firewalls on 3 of their interfaces, plus running HSRP on the internet facing routers along with setting up BGP on them as well. Its pushing my Cisco and Checkpoint skills a little, but I know what I need to acheive and am fairly happy with all the setup. Looking forward to the challenge!
Sounds damn technical though, doesnt it?
