I got home last night to find 2 things:
1/ Shell had cooked. Cheese and Potato Pie topped with Bacon and Tomato. It was great! She kept apologising for it and saying that she couldnt cook. She is wrong. She isnt wrong often, but she was wrong about that :)
2/ That our ex-housemate Pete (the one that married my ex-) came round yesterday and took everything of his from the house. Including the chairs, etc that he had lent us. And the tumble drier that I wanted to buy from him.
The lounge is now devoid of any seating. Which is both good and bad.
Good Thing: I can now clean the room properly and buy some of my own furniture.
Bad Thing: I don't have any money to buy anything!
Shell and I cleaned the downstairs room and moved my massive settee from the kitchen to the new lounge. Then we put a TV stand in there in preparation for another TV I am getting. So we do have somewhere to sit in the meantime.
So I now have a new shopping list of things to get for the house:
Dining table and chairs (Tim's mum may be donating a table)
2x Two Seater Sofas (for the main lounge)
Tumble Drier
Cheese grater (as Shell needed one yesterday)
I'm sure there is more, but I can never remember what they are.
With regard to lists, I was asked yesterday to provide the following 2 items here on my site:
i) A List of Things To Do Before I Die
ii) A List of Things I Will Bequeath To People
Not that anyone is being morbid or wants my CD collection or DVD collection or anything. Basts!
