Stuff

Firstly, hello to Lars. How you doin? Stop pinging me :) and yes, I still have the DVDs, boxed up and ready to send... along with 2 40gb HDDs that I havent returned under warranty yet. GET YOUR FINGER OUT TUDOR! I will do it soon - I promise. Definately so that you get them before Xmas...

Went to see Thunder last night with Ian, Shelle, Pete, Bimbo and Andy. It was excellent. The support band was Schism. They were funny and damn good - in the vein of Blink182 and Sum41. With tracks such as Hey Dude, I Fucked Your Mom Last Night, Messin' With My Best Friends Girlfriend and the seminal classic Christina Sucks, Britney Swallows. They were really good, and when they get some tracks released (currently airing on ScuzzTV), I will be getting them.

Next up were the main act - Thunder. They came on to a huge amount of noise and looked quite stunned. The venue isnt that big, but boy did we make a racket. They kicked off well and did around 14 songs, mixing old then new repeatedly. It worked really well. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed seeing them and getting into it all. I will be seeing them again and its also kick started my need for live music again :)

When we left the venue, Shelle was approached by a big issue seller, who she promptly handed over 1.20 to for his mag. He then didnt want to give the mag to her, as it was his last one, being used as a ploy to get money - ie begging. He then followed us for a while, begging her for the magazine back - even offering her 2.50 for it - for without, he couldnt get any more money. Twat!

Got the kids this evening and then back home to finish their bunk beds (ready for the weekend).
