Racing

Well, I got home last night and went for a run. About a mile. It took me about 7 minutes, which for someone that hasnt been running for years, was quite good.

When I got home, I made some tea (turkey steaks and chips), then found a delivery outside the back door. Some furniture for my kids bedroom. Went online for a bit, then had a shower and spent about 5 minutes more on the bunk beds, before gaving up. At that point I decided to take up on an invitation I had had earlier in the day and went round to Ian and Shelles to get drunk and watch trashy films. What a life I lead.

We had some pretty deep and meaningful discussions last night, like Favourite Song, Most Meaningful Moment in Life, Worst Moment in Life, Thing You Most Want In Life, etc. Quite insightful, as I learnt quite a bit about Ian and Shelle that I didnt know before, so thats good (nothing blackmailable though - damn). Thinking back now, I think maybe some of my responses were quite emotionally based. Which is odd but good. I'm a logical guy, but the emotional crap keeps getting back to me :)

Got home at 8:15 this morning and still managed to catch the 8:41 train. I am not in a good condition this morning.

I had something to rant about this morning, but cant for the life of me remember what it was. I'm sure it will come to me later.

Anyway, when I arrived at the house this morning, a ParcelForce van turned up as well, and promptly made me sign for a package. I ripped it open and hey! presto! - it was my Pioneer DVR-106 DVD+/-R/W! I ordered this from Dabs.com yesterday lunchtime. Now thats fast! I'll install it tonight after the kids have gone home and burn, burn, BURN!
