Aches

Happines Rating: 4/10

Last night, I went with Ian (with his 2 youngest Anthony and Thalia) to see the Weston-super-Mare Winter Carnival. It was pretty good - although finding parking was a nightmare. There are a few pictures I took here. We stood for about 2 hours watching the floats and there were some damn good ones too, but nowhere near as many as there used to be years ago.

This morning, I got up and went for a run. I might have another when I get home tonight as well. If I can drop a couple of pounds before Xmas, I'll be happy. The main reason though is to get fitter. I don't eat much nowadays, so exercise is what I need to do. I hate going to the gym and I dont need to build bulk (if you've ever seen me - you know why), so running seems the ovbious choice. I may even start mountain biking again, as I enjoyed that immensely when I was single before.

So I am aching this morning due to standing around in the cold and going on my first proper run for years. Damn this creaking body :)
