Elsewhere today: I had faggots with onion gravy, mashed potato and mushy peas for lunch. It was awesome. Nothing like the dry faggots I had for lunch in Weston a few weeks ago. And anyone making any rude comments about "faggots" will be suitable ignored :)

Playing snooker with Ian tonight, so lets hope I can keep up a winning streak both tonight and tomorrow against Ben.

I really, really need to vacuum my house. Still havent had chance yet. I might do the top floor before I go out this evening, but might not get chance between getting home from work and picking Ian up at 19.00. Ho-hum!

On the train, I was reading Maxim magazine. Yes - reading, not just looking at pictures :) Anyway, there was an article about a guy who was wrongfully imprisoned in Indonesia, and only got out because he was declared dead. Fascinating. He has a book out called "Hell's Prisoner:The Shocking True Story Of An Innocent Man Jailed For Over Eleven Years In Indonesia's Most Notorious Prisons" by Christopher Parnell. What a title.

Yay!

Had a fantastic weekend (as detailed slightly below). Rhiannon and Chandler stayed over Sunday night, and due to the circumstances, I had Monday off of work and had them all day!

Took Rhiannon to school at 09.00, after stopping off at the shop to buy fruit - which she had forgotten to mention. So she took 2 apples in - and took great pleasure in telling everyone about it. It was excellent. Chandler slept from about 08.50 til 11.00, and after he woke up, he spent the whole time looking out of my bedroom window watching the diggers, trucks, etc on the building site opposite.

Collect Rhiannon from school at 12 and met a lurvely lady by the name of Louise (extremely fit - in both senses of the word). Anyway, she had seen Bimbo the night before, so we talked about that.

[Bimbo had been beaten up by Luke - and I mean properly. Bastard. No-one should hit women and not like he had, but more on that later]

I droppped Rhiannon and Chandler off at Bimbo mums, which is where they have moved in for a few days until things have got sorted out. Bimbo was a right state. Black eyes, broken nose. Bruises coming up all over the place. It was quite horrible.

I gave her a hug and said that even though she had made me hate her at times for things she had said and done, I was disgusted and that no-one, not even her, deserved that kind of treatment.

Anyway, looks like I might be getting my two more regularly, as she wants to go back to working weekends again.

More updates as they occur. Which they will - more often. My masterful friend Motorman (Andy) has written me a complete blogging script so I can update from work or anywhere. Which is excellent!

Crumbs - over a week without an update. I am getting remiss!

Erm - where shall I start. Well - my vacuum cleaner from BargainCrazy turned up. My trainers and boots from Schuh turned up. Had a letter from the Inland Revenue telling me how much I owe them - too which I laughed, fainted and laughed again!

Gemma passed her driving test on Thursday - yay! - and also got herself a car.

[note to self: get side impact bars and airbags fitted to my car]

Went out on Friday night in town. Danced so much my I have damaged my ankle and rubbed some skin off one of my toes! Not good!

Was meant to pick Rhiannon and Chandler up at noon yesterday, but Bimbo called and asked if I wanted them early. So I picked them up at 10:30 and I still have them. I have the day off work tomorrow (problem at Bimbos end) and am taking/collecting Rhiannon from school. So they would have stayed 2 nights with me over the weekend. Life doesnt get much better than this :)

Played snooker with Ian on Tuesday night winning 5-3. I played with Ian's mothers cue as she is selling it - and its ace. I think I will buy it from her as she only wants �35...

Played snooker with Ben on Thursday night and lost 2-1. Damn! But I am still up for the week :)

I rang Rhiannon and Chandler on Thursday afternoon to speak with them (which I have started doing every week now). I asked Bimbo if I could have them on the Sunday as I couldnt have them on Saturday. Unfortunately, Bimbo and Luke have Lukes daughter Lauren on Sundays, so Bimbo asked me I wanted them for tea - 17:00-19:00 on Friday, to which I agreed of course.

She then rang me back about 1hr later and asked if I wanted them overnight! So I picked them up at 17:00 and Bimbo collected them at 11:00 this morning. Had a great time with them. I forgot how much I missed putting them to bed, seeing Chandler sleepy and being able to get him down to sleep, reading Rhiannon a story and tucking them both in. [cue tears again]

I'm out this evening/night celebrating Andy G's 35th b/day in Bristol - should be a blast. I will report tomorrow when I get home.

ADSL is great.

I've only had it for just over 2 weeks and I am in love with it already. Been downloading stuff like crazy and just surfing at this speed is excellent. However, Tim (my ex-BIL - who I share the house with) keeps disconnecting his PC from the net, and it has the sharing s/w on it. I have to buy a little router or something as it is driving me mad!

Had the kids this afternoon. We went into town to get some materials for doing "glueing and sticking" as Rhiannon puts it :) Found a great pack in Woolworths with loads of different papers, stickers and all sorts in it.

Chandler fell asleep in town and was zonked out from 11:30 to about 13:00. When he woke up - we played with his new Car Transporter and Cars that I bought from Bargain Crazy. It is a Little Tikes one and it is huuuuggge! Had great fun running the cars under the couch and watching them come out the other side, all while Rhiannon was watching "Barbie as Rapunzel" and "Help! I'm a fish"...

Dropped them back around 14:30 as Bimbo had to go out. Not seeing them next Saturday as Rhiannon has a party to go to. Might see them on the Sunday though.

Didnt go out last night - stayed in and was normal :) Going out tonight though, as it is one of our friends 18th birthday and they are all going out dressed as Bob the Builder - should be a laugh!
