Ah. That might be right. I was suspecting it was the petrol issue as that was something I did quite a lot.

There was I in a car with a computer display panel that showed how much fuel was left in the tank (bar graph) and how much mileage was left in the tank and when it got low it flashed "FUEL" in RED... Ran out of petrol every few months... Doh!

And, yeah - it broke down sometimes too :)

And you hadn't run out of petrol, your blinking Volvo broke down... but that album was good, although I would strongly recommened the VH1 Story Tellers Album (disc 1 of Across a Wire double album).
