yes as it was meant to be funny hence the exclamation marks there for you have taken it out of context.

Uh Oh!, I feel another 'Out of Context' issue again.

Try reading it another way...

Hey tudor, shell;

I'm really saddened to hear that your going through hard times. I wish I could be there to help you guys out and move on with stuff.

Tudor you have had to suffer so much and yet you bounce back like a ball. This is a sign of a true man, and one who can look to the future - Granted it may be a bit distant right now but I am sure that you will work things and that things will move forward for you.

You just have to remember that people are comlicated little things and lots can (and very often do) go wrong, But you have to stand and hold your course and believe in your morals and your self.

I hope this doesnt come across as a 'told you so' type thing.

I have alot of respect for you both (even through I have never met shell).

I really hope that things work out for you guys and if there is anything I can do to help you out, let me know.

As you're both in on this, best of luck to both Tudor and Shell in sorting things out. I am a bit late coming into this (not paying attention as usual) but if you're both still there for each other just take it easy. You have had a great time together it seems, keep those memories to the fore as you move forward.
As a small aside, seeing someone else on your postings with the same surname as me really wierded me out.

Thats very sad news indeed for you Tudor.

I have been your friend for many years now and I find myself torn between our friendship and me asking Shell out.

hmmmmn

Thanks Mark its nice to know that you read and understood what was meant!! At no point did I comment on Tudor and Shells relationship what would be the point of that I dont even know Shell!! My perceptions of life and relationships are my views and I was merely expressing them!!! to be attacked saying that I was pitying and patronising Tudor well.... I can only presume that the person who wrote that has issues. TUDOR I do not pity you -I just remeber you as a good friend.
I've had my rant!!

WTF?

Wendy, no need to apologise. I don't see anything wrong with what you have written. Talk about people taking things out of context!

Jan? - You have obviously misunderstood my email. Tudor if my words have caused any offence to you, or you feel like I have "patronised" you then please accept my sincere apologies. I was just trying to offer my "Support" to a friend.

im sure Tudor knows how lucky he is. and if he and shell are still "best" friends then they are able to support each other,
i think you are only supposed to pity someone (or patronise as you have) when it has all gone tits up not clearly ended with maturity and respect for each other which so rarely happens in this day.

Hi Tudor
Dont speak often but I want to say that all will be ok in the end.. you have 2 beautiful kids and loads of friends. I know you said that you have been here before but you got through it last time and you will again. Life is a complete shitter and no one has the perfect life some people look happy, some just pretend some people are genuinly happy (not many!) Some people just take a little bit longer to find a place where they are happy with the right person. Enjoy being you for a while. You are a kind loving and generous bloke and you really give your heart away in a relationship.
xx
