I was just at an upscale building in Beverly Hills, CA, USA, trying to figure out the source of a recurring odor. It smelled like dogshit! I sniffed around, and it was the hedge! Then I read this blog. I'm trying to find the proper name of this plant (genus and species) or even the common name. If anyone happens to know, please comment on it here.
And I thought I was crazy thinking a hedge smelled like dog poo.

Smelly hedges - probably to stop some furry little animal from eating it.
Or someone in work (or a tramp) is using it as a toilet...
